About Pat Sears

Pat Sears, a Springfield native, is a real estate professional with a multifaceted background that enriches his approach to serving clients. After graduating from Providence College in 1988, Pat initially pursued a career in Corporate America, where he gained valuable business insights at a Fortune 100 company. However, Pat’s journey took an unexpected turn in 1993 when he joined the Franciscan Order and spent a year in the seminary. A year later, Pat founded the non-profit organization New Spirit, dedicated to empowering teenagers—a venture that underscored his commitment to community service and relationship building.

After 27 years of impactful leadership at New Spirit, organizing over 2,000 events and positively influencing the lives of over 100,000 young people, Pat decided to transition back to his roots in real estate. In 2021, drawn to Sears Real Estate, the well-known brokerage his father founded in 1971, Pat brought his wealth of experience and relational focus to the real estate industry.

Today, now a part of Lamacchia Realty Springfield, Pat’s background in ministry and corporate management informs his client-centric approach to real estate. He understands that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction—it’s about fostering meaningful connections and understanding the unique needs of each client. With his diverse skill set and unwavering commitment to excellence, Pat Sears strives to make a lasting impact on the real estate industry, guiding clients through the complexities of the market with integrity, empathy, and a genuine desire to help them achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Pat enjoys family outings to Fenway Park, exhilarating ski trips, and friendly games of beach volleyball with his wife and 5 sons. A fun fact about Pat – He has always had a deep love for athletics. From his days as D1 diver in collage, to coaching his sons’ sports teams as they grew up, sports have always been a huge part of Pat’s life.
